Scholars' Farm Smoothie

A tasty smoothie which the students love

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup leafy greens kale, chard, spinach, collards, etc.
  • 1/2 cup herbs Mint, basil, thai basil, parsley, etc.
  • 1 cup liquid water, milk, dairy-free milk, juice, etc.
  • 1 Cup frozen fruit
  • 1 banana
  • 1/2 cup of ice optional

Instructions
 

  • Remove leafy greens from any fibrous stems (if applicable).
  • Tightly pack leafy greens in a measuring cup.
  • Add leafy greens, herbs and liquid to the blender and blend until smooth.
  • Chop up fruit into small chunks.
  • Add frozen fruit and banana chunks to the blender and puree until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into glasses and serve!

Notes

Highly customizable! You can use fresh fruit instead of frozen, or add things not on our ingredients list, such as honey!
