

Tomato Basil Pasta
A savory dinner with a variety of flavors
Ingredients
- Pasta
- 2 bunches of basil
- 3-5 cloves of garlic
- 1 white or yellow onion
- 4-6 medium-sized tomatoes
- Black pepper
- Salt
- Olive or vegetable oil
- Parmesan cheese optional
- Red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Put a large pot of water on to boil and cook pasta in boiling water for about 12 minutes, stirring occasionally
- Mince cloves of garlic, dice tomatoes and onion, and set aside in separate bowl
- Heat a pan with olive or cooking oil
- Add diced onions and cook until slightly brown.
- Add minced garlic until slightly brown.
- Add in diced tomatoes and chopped basil, add salt & black pepper, let cook for 2-3 mins.
- Turn off heat and mix in cooked pasta (mix all ingredients with cooked pasta in a large pot or large bowl)
- Add Parmesan cheese (optional) and more olive oil and salt & black pepper
